Electronic Submission Instructions
Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts electronically in PDF form via the website. Electronic submission of manuscripts will reduce the editorial processing and reviewing time. However, hardcopy submissions are also acceptable. If authors prefer conventional hardcopy submission, see Hardcopy Submission Instructions.

Our submission and reviewing system has been upgraded along with the updating of J-STAGE. However, the authors submitted under the previous system may upload their revised manuscript and the final version under the previous system.
If you submit the manuscript as new submission or you upload the revised manuscript submitted after October 11 2011, please click here.
If you upload the revised manuscript and final version manuscript submitted before October 10 2011, please click here.
The Editorial Office will send an acknowledgement of receipt together with the assigned manuscript number by e-mail to the corresponding author. Authors should contact the office if they have not received such notification within a reasonable time.
The following files should be provided at the initial submission.
Manuscript
A single PDF file of the manuscript, which contains the text, figure legends, tables, figures, and Graphical Abstract, being page-numbered in this order consecutively
Supporting Information
A copy of any available Supporting Information should be submitted as prepared according to the Direction for Preparation of Electronic Supporting Information.
Relevant Publications
A PDF file of any papers relevant to the manuscript that are in press or have been submitted
Copyright Transfer Form
A signed copyright Transfer Form should be submitted with each manuscript submission. The author may send by e-mail, fax or post.

Submission Notes
Only the fonts for single-byte characters should be used for manuscripts. Using fonts for multi-byte characters such as Chinese and Japanese will cause garbled characters when the file is opened, or printed.
The below-mentioned characters are not permitted for naming files. If files contain these characters, the files will not be transferred correctly. The File name should end with the extension.

If there are more than two files to be uploaded as any supporting materials, send them as e-mail attachments to bulleo@chemistry.or.jp with the subject "BCSJ submission temporary submission code" as soon as you have completed registration.
Authors are encouraged to suggest reviewers for their work.
