今まで見てきた「will」「can」「may」「shall」「must」 をまとめました。意味の違いは以下のようになります。

will, would	意志、志
can, could	可能
may, might	許可
shall, should	命令
must	義務

確実性の度合いは以下の順番になります。

強い
　must
　shall
　will
　can
　may
弱い

[補足] 過去形の「would」「could」「might」「should」は確実性の差が大きくありませんので、意味の違いの方が大事になります。

Here we summarize will, can, may, shall, and must that we have seen so far. The differences in meaning are as follows.

must	obligation

The degree of certainty is in the following order.

high
must
shall
will
can
may
low

Supplement: The degree of certainty of the past tenses would, could, might, and should are not great, the differences in meaning are more important.
