Electronic Manuscript Submission
The following instructions will guide you through the electronic submission process for submitting a new manuscript to Chemistry Letters.
We strongly recommend that you read our Information for Authors at first, and then please refer to the Guideline for Using the Electronic Submission System (G.U.E.S.S.) and Directions for Preparation and Transmission of Electronic Materials (DiPTEM) and that you have all of the following submission information ready before proceeding:
- Names and addresses, including E-mail addresses, of all authors
- Names and addresses of four suggested reviewers
- Names and addresses of three reviewers that authors wish to be excluded, if any
- Text version of the title and abstract (you can paste this in from your manuscript file)
- An electronic text version of the covering letter.
Authors should briefly indicate some adequate reasons why they think that rapid publication of their work in Chemistry
Letters is justified, and should include a statement of the main point and relation of the paper to prior work,
and future contact information. Please see our Information for Authors for additional details.
- File(s) containing the manuscript and figures in PDF format. These should be appropriately named with extension (e.g., newsubmission.pdf) and must be in PDF format.
- All text, references, captions, and tables must be in one file only; figures can be included also in this file . If you have any difficulties to get together all of the parts included in your manuscript into one PDF file, please consult with the CSJ Editorial Office prior to your submission.
Files in other formats, unauthorized PDF file with uncommon fonts, or that do not end with the appropriate file
extension will not be accepted.

Important Notice to Authors
- New System for Web-based Submission and Review is Now Available.
- From the beginning of October, Chemistry Letters will launch a new web-based service for electronic submission.
- Note that any submission received before October will be guaranteed completion through the review process without any extra works. This should not be a cause for concern whichever system the authors have registered with.
- If there is anything unclear, please do not hesitate to let us know at the below mentioned E-mail address.
- We hope this new system will encourage you to submit your valuable research results to Chemistry Letters.
- User Tutrials are available here.
