Nagakura Saburo Award for 2021
The Chemical Society of Japan (President, Dr. Yoshimitsu Kobayashi) decided the winner of the first Nagakura Saburo Award at the 658th meeting of its Board of Directors as follows.

Professor Satoshi Maeda has been awarded the Chemical Society of Japan Award for Creative Work for 2021, and his pioneering and original achievements have been highly evaluated both in Japan and abroad. Since further development is expected in the future, his achievements have been recognized as worthy of the Nagakura Saburo Award. The awardee will receive a plaque with a medal bearing the face of Dr. Saburo Nagakura and an extra prize.
