CSJ Globalization Campaign

We have been strongly promoting globalization of CSJ since 2014.
The purposes are to globalize the consciousness of CJS members and to strengthen relationships between both chemical communities of Japan and other countries by improvement of the CSJ presence overseas. As one of our promotions, we have launched the "CSJ Globalization Campaigns" which are the first attempts at CSJ. We announce the campaigns here. The contents of the campaign are as follows.
- Special price for Registration at the CSJ Annual Meeting
Registration fee: Regular member 6,000JPY, Student member 2,000JPY*,**
* In the case of pre-registrations, ** Half price of regular registration
Eligible applicant requirement: Person having non-Japanese citizenship
CSJ first launched this campaign in 2015 and the numbers of non-Japanese participants are remarkably increasing. We are still discussing highly-participative systems for overseas members. CSJ will promote the globalization of the CSJ Annual Meeting by English presentations and website-based publicities of chemical societies from outside Japan.
- Establishment of New Overseas Membership
Special privileges of the Campaign:-
・Free of entrance fee
・Annual Membership Fee: Free for the first year, 3,000JPY (Student 1,000JPY) from
the second year on***
***One-third of regular prices
・Free access to CSJ journals (Chemistry Letters and Bulletin of the Chemical Society
of Japan). The number of downloads will be limited.
・English translation of partial articles of Membership Journal "Kagaku-to Kogyou" and deliveries (execute sequentially).
New member of non-Japanese living outside of Japan
This Campaign begins from May 2016.
