On 24 May 2024, Public Interest Corporation the Chemical Society of Japan (President: Keiji Maruoka) held its 77th Annual General Meeting and 672nd Board of Directors Meeting and announced the decision for the following officers for the 2024 fiscal year. In addition, the Articles of Incorporation of the Chemical Society of Japan stipulate that the Chair, the First Vice Chair, and the Executive Director are the Representative Directors. Chair Keiji Maruoka, First Chair Koji Suzuki, and Executive Director Mitsuo Sawamoto have been appointed as Representative Directors for the 2024 fiscal year.
