On 25 May 2026, Public Interest Corporation the Chemical Society of Japan (President: Kohei Morikawa) held its 79th Annual General Meeting and 684nd Board of Directors Meeting and announced the decision for the following officers for the 2026 fiscal year. In addition, the Articles of Incorporation of the Chemical Society of Japan stipulate that the Chair, the First Vice Chair, and the Executive Director are the Representative Directors. Chair Kohei Morikawa, First Chair Takashi Hayashi, and Executive Director Shinichi Suzuki have been appointed as Representative Directors for the 2026 fiscal year.
